Brendan Pierard is an Associate Attorney with our firm at The Law Office of Michael Olewinski. He was raised in Grundy County and graduated from Coal City High School. After high school, Brendan attended business school at DePaul University, where he graduated Cum Laude, with a degree in Managerial Statistics. Brendan went on to graduate from Cornell Law School in Ithaca, New York.
Brendan began his career in the financial services industry. He went on to work in regulation and compliance, advising multiple start-ups from formation to launch. After law school, Brendan began his legal career, clerking for the judges of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Morris, IL.
At The Law Office of Michael Olewinski, Brendan's practice primarily focuses on Family Law, Real Estate, and Criminal Defense. He also advises small crypto market tech companies with blockchain-based applications/DApps in constructing a working legal framework of operations, and regulatory/compliance issues related to token distribution before, during, and after their ICO.
Brendan's legal memberships include the Illinois State Bar Association, Grundy County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is also an active participant in the Cornell Alumni Association, the Cornell Club of Chicago, and the Ivy League Alumni Network.
